Resource Box - 
When
posting an
article or blog an effective
tool used to generate people to your website is your Resource Box. This
is no joke people, use what is available and don't abuse them. I sound
like my freaking mother now!
This is no joke. Do not
promote yourself in the body or the title.
Don't be a tawdry cheap writer. You want to maximize your traffic while
being ethical follow these simple steps.
For example I have tried
this for the past 3 weeks and now my name is
on the top of the Google search engines. I am sure the fact that I have
an odd name helps. Didn't want you to think it's that easy. So now my
name is associated with articles that have garnered some loyal readers.
Name: Most
people will forget to do this simple
task. Promote who you are here from name to title to your pen name.
Start generating clicks when your name becomes recognized. Not the name
of our company (self promotion basically pimping yourself. This
encourages the reader to want more of what you are providing,
information.
URL:
First and foremost make sure it's right.
Do
what I do especially when working for a client. Go to their website and
"cut & paste" the URL, you'd be amazed at how a small dot or
letter can make a world of difference. Stay away from "anchored text
links"
Pitch: Keep
it simple 2 to 3 sentences should
tell
your reader what you are selling. Be unique and different.
Call to Action:
Make them click this is where you have one chance to get their
emotional need or buttons to go to your website. Something like "If you
want to know more click here" or "Take a look here"
